Please do not X-ray any part of your anatomy. I felt safe doing this only because the machine I have is very low power and uses pretty low-energy X-rays (30kV). The exposure time (40s) was much shorter than I typically use (3min or greater) for imaging objects. I take no responsibility for any idiots frying bits of their body in an attempt to X-ray them!
I had the X-ray machine set up recently for something else, and reckoned I might as well try a quick image of my hand. With only a 40s exposure, it's pretty dark, and the contrast is very poor. However you can just about make out the bones and joints.
